We are in the process of completing a commercial development loan to assist our borrower convert a dilapidated hotel into residential apartments. Mainstream lenders were put off the proposal as the development risk was considered high risk and falls into the ‘red’ category.

Once completed the apartments will be refinanced onto a commercial investment mortgage with a mainstream lender and retained by the borrower to provide a long term income stream.
